At our practice, we have not seen any such side effects in our patients, although this should be discussed with your treating provider.  Cholesterol levels should not be affected, although again, you should discuss your symptoms with your provider.

CoolSculpting does not cause nausea and severe hypotension 2 weeks after the treatment. It also has no effect on your cholesterol levels at any time after your treatment. If you are experiencing these symptoms you should see your primary care physician for an evaluation.

The most common side effects with coolsculpting are localized to the area and include tenderness, bruising, and swelling. Contact your primary care physician to determine if there is a reaction to medication or other similar issue.
