Can i get my nose elongated to create less distance on nose to upper lip I do not want a lip lift

It is possible to elongate the nose, when needed, using cartilage graft(s). However. only on the basis on in person consultation, an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon, board certified plastic or ENT surgeon, will be able to discuss your options. Good luck.

Although it may be possible to elongate your nose, it may distort it and look abnormal. The traditional method is with a lip lift. If the concern is that there will be too much lift on a little lip and therefore too much show of the teeth, and still there is a lot of upper lip skin distance, one should probably be evaluated for possible orthognathic surgery. If one were to detach the base of the nasal ala in the columella and advance these parts of the nose towards the lips, aside from the resulting scar, the angles on the nose would most likely be unsightly.

lip distance can be reduced by lengthening your nose tip. columellar show will increase. When viewed from the side, the inside of the nose is more visible.
