What are my options to improve post surgical scars from gynecomastia? (Photos)

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and RF therapy to help reduce the longterm effects of the scarring. this type of scarring needs medical tattooing, usually takes 2-3 sessions. lasers do not work well, but plasma pen or fraxel can be tried in this case. dermarolling weekly helps for texture (see link). Best, Dr. Emer.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you can get scar revision. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

In my opinion, post surgical scars are often very treatable. They respond very well to fractionated lasers. It may take 3-5 treatments but it will improve both the tone and texture of a post-surgical scar.
Since there is some evidence of hypertrophic scarring as well then sometimes injections with combination of steroid and 5fu into the scar can improve the texture as well. You could try this before a laser treatment to see if that's all you would need.
