Thank you for your question. If your surgeon has cleared you to shower, and depending on the current status of your incisions, I would recommend a scent-less, gentle, non-drying soap. Be sure not to scrub your incisions, and only pat them dry to prevent undo tension or incisional separation.
On all patients that have had surgery (not just breast reduction) I recommend a simple soap without dyes or perfumes. Typically dove or ivory are safe for most people. If you have a reaction to the soap, notify your plastic surgeon.
