Should my surgeon pay for revisions and ulnar nerve damage post plastic surgery? (Photos)

Question

I had a brachioplasty 11/17 and had had pain in my right arm ever since.I was diagnosed with ulnar nerve damage a few days ago. I saw the plastic surgeon for revision of my thigh and pain problems with my arm a few weeks ago. He smiled and told me that my results were "excellent" and sent me on my way. Two other plastic surgeons have since told me they can't revise the scar is to close to my ulnar nerve. I think the surgeon should pay for my ulnar repair thigh revision. Is this reasonable?

It is best to establish in advance what the patient's responsibility is for revision plastic surgery. In general, most surgeons ask patients to at least pay for operating room and anesthesia fees. If you express your concerns directly with the surgeon, hopefully the two of you will come to a reasonable compromise. Good luck

Dear aggiemae2,Every surgeon has a revision policy. Many involve reduced or even no fees for the surgeon (depending on the situation) while the patient may still be responsible for facility (the use of the operating room, staff, and supplies) and anesthesia fees.
