Although it is used off license by some doctors, there are many who do not prescribe it for hair loss.Propecia (finasteride) is licensed for hair loss but its efficacy varies from person to person.It is definitely worth trying and if it works for you and stops progression then this effect may last for many years. If it only slows down your hair loss then your hair will continue to thin slowly.
