Is it safe to get lip filler if I'm underweight?

My BMI is currently below 17.5. I'm working with a nutritionist to get it back up. I typically get lip filler every 1-2 years and would like to do it soon, but wasn't sure if it's ok while I'm still underweight. Thanks in advance for your help!
