Thank you for your posting your question. Since neck lift procedures directly target the skin on the neck and throat, getting braces should not interfere with the outcome. Though the alignment of your teeth may change, this is unlikely to have an effect on the skin below the jawline.
During this procedure, the deeper tissues and muscles are lifted and excess skin is removed to provide a natural, long-lasting result. The jawline contour will become more defined, but the area around the mouth should be unaffected. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can go further into depth on how the neck lift procedure will be performed.

It really doesn't matter when you perform the necklift either before, during, or after braces. Best candidates usually have a BMI of 30 or less and the diet resistant that is removed during the necklift procedure.
