I had a breast lift w/ silicone implants(250 cc, sub muscular, mid profile) 8 mths ago - June 2023. My first breast Aug was 20 yrs prior (450 cc, sub glandular, high profile, saline, areolar incisiion.) My breasts are very close together, and there is tenting, but the pockets feel as though they are distinct, as in the implants do not feel as though they are crossing a midline. Is this pseudosymastia or true symastia? Honestly how does my result look?
Answer: Implants With the size you selected, you are fine. Don't go any larger. In the future, you might go down in size and the implants will fit your frame better.

Answer: Understanding your outcome This response was dictated. I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors. I think your breast implants sit close to the midline, but I do not think you have symmastia To make it quality assessment regarding the outcome of plastic surgery procedure which generally always need to see complete proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. If you’ve had more than one procedure then Including before, and after pictures for each of your previous operations for us to have a better understanding of why the outcome looks the way it does. Without understanding somebody’s candidacy for the procedure it is more difficult to try to make an assessment. Making an assessment using pictures alone is always difficult. If you want proper second opinion consultation, then schedule those in person consultations with other providers in your community. For second opinion, consultations come prepared bring with you a complete set of proper before and after pictures and copies of your previews operative reports. These should always be available from your providers office if you request them. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
