How many ccs can be given for BBL safely?

Doing Brazilian Buttock Lift is a science and an art. The important part is to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with experience and attention to details.During the liposuction for fat transfer, care is taken to harvest viable fat. Then prepare the fat to inject the pure fat. Then inject in the proper technique to assure the fat will remain viable and survive. You can claim to inject thousands of cc"s, is that pure fat or with lots of fluid left? Is that viable fat?And  are you injecting the fat so as to acquire new blood supply and survive. Putting too much fat will have no chance of survival. and there lies the disappointments and need for revisions and second surgeries.

As you noted, for each patient it depends on shape and size. I routinely transfer 1200 cc to 1500 cc on medium body frame patients. The limit depends on the skin compliance and the surgeon's technique.

The laxity that the skin has in that area and the amount of fat the patient has is a very important variant for the amount of ccs that will be grafted. If there is too much fat injected the blood flow would be compromised and it could put in danger your health. Please discuss all your concerns, options and expectations thoroughly with your surgeon. Thank you for your question.There is not a definitive answer to this question across the board. It is very patient dependent and surgeon dependent.  I've done 600 per side to 1200 per side depending on the patient.  There is a fine line between obtaining enough augmentation and putting so much fat in that it causes excessive tissue compression and cell death.  There is a point of tissue tension for me that is an indication to stop adding more fat.  It's very different for every patient.  If you pass that point, your risk of complications such as fat necrosis, oil cysts, infections and draining wounds increases.  Physicians that don't pay attention to this may have a few more impressive results, but my guess is that they also have more complications.  Just stuff to think about....
