Is there any issue starting root canal therapy/having dental work within a week after having Juvederm filler in my undereye/tear trough area? I have the appointment booked for filler already but my tooth is now causing me pain. Unsure if I should cancel the filler. Thanks for your help!

Answer: Dental work or fillers first Your general health is a lot more important than a tear trough. I would definitely address the painful tooth first. Once your dental work is completed and you have absolutely no discomfort for a minimum of five days, then you can address your tear trough. About the tear trough, I would never add Juvaderm to that area on the face as it almost always causes a problem with the filler migration and Tyndall effect. Consider fat grafting first as it produces natural and permanent results, as long as the procedure is done by a plastic surgeon with lots of experience in fat grafting techniques. I hope to source and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery
