Hard to breath at times & many sinus infections - do I have a deviated septum? (Photos)

At times I do find it hard to breathe and I have had many sinus infections. After searching online I did find some similarities with my symptoms and symptoms of having a deviated septum. Do I have a deviated septum?

Hi there! Breathing trouble and sinus problems at times go hand-in-hand. From the photos, it appears you may have a deviated septum, though physical examination in person would be best for true determination. A CT Sinus scan would be helpful to see what's happening within your sinuses if you're having multiple infections per year. If you haven't tried over the counter saline and steroid sprays, these may be helpful. Schedule a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon who has an ENT background to see what could be going on. From the limited photographs, does appear that you have a deviated septum. A Thorough internal examination of the nose is going to be required to that determination about what's causing air flow restriction. You will also need a CT scan of your sinuses to rule out chronic sinus disease creating the repetitive sinus infections.
