Flattened lip after 3 days of procedure - is this supposed to happen?

Hello sunrise Swelling should subside within 1-2 weeks and tightness should diminish within a few months. Mild discomfort may occur but should not hinder day-to-day tasks. The lip will be a little higher than when it settle into position.  The sutures dissolve but are hard to see even immediately after surgery.  Incision treatments with laser, microneedling, and topical creams are available as you heal to provide the best result possible

Lip lift surgery does not enlarge the lips.  It only shortens the distance from the lip to the nose.  If you want a larger lip, discuss lip implants with your surgeon.
