I got my third ml of juverderm yesterday, so it's been about a day and a half still feeling firm which I know is normal however it's just the side profile that looks like a duck lip and is swollen above the lip? Is this normal? And will the swelling subside? How long can I expect and is there anything I can do to help make it less over lapped and duck like.

Answer: Duck lip Swelling post lip filler is very common. This swelling can take up to two weeks to subside. I would give it some time for the swelling to all go down and then reassess the look of your lips. If you are still unhappy with the results then I would return to your injector for correction.

Answer: Lip augmentation with fillers It is not uncommon that lips can feel like duck lips directly proceeding injectable fillers. The swelling typically peaks the first few days. I would recommend to follow-up with the physician who performed your treatment if you are still concerned about the appearance once the initial swelling subsides or if you experience any negative side effects.
