You can certainly play sports after rhinoplasty, but a a couple of key points that you want to keep in mind:Make sure you wait until your surgeon says it's ok to do so (usually at least 6 weeks after surgery but sometimes longer)After the rhinoplasty your nose could still be injured by a contact sport, just like it could before the procedure, and just like with any injury to the nose it may require surgery to correct it if injured badly enough.I hope that helps and good luck!
It is acceptable to play contact sports after rhinoplasty, but it is best to wait at least 4-6 weeks before engaging in this activity. A deviated nasal septum that causes nasal obstruction needs to be surgically fixed. If it is not causing any obstruction then the only reason to fix it is to help straighten the nose. Straightening the nasal septum is integral in straightening a crooked nose. Whether you should do it or not...
In general, 70% of the swelling resolves after the first 3 months and the remainder goes down over time. The nose will continue to change as you heal, and the final result may not be evident for 18-24 months after surgery. I would recommend following up with your surgeon regarding any specific...
It appears that you might be referring to the columellar scar. If you can feel a bump it is ok as it is usually normal scar tissue. However, if you can easily see a bump, then it needs correction with steroid injections (kenalog) and if that does not work then revision of the scar...
