I recently posted about my upper arm crepy skin. I am 58 and always prided myself in being very toned ,especially my arms. ( 5'1" 110 lb) had 1 treatment using Radiesse 3 weeks ago , at board certified dermatologist. No improvement. She was very conscientious about the technique she used ( fanning) . Scheduled to have another treatment in 2 weeks with Radiesse. Should I try another filler? My dermatolgist has reached out to other colleages for suggestions. Your treatment suggestions please !
Answer: Skin laxity Thank you for your question.A great non-surgical option is Venus Freeze. It is a non-invasive treatment done to the skin to help stimulate collagen and reduce the appearance of cellulite. I love using it on arms and the front of thighs, it works great!

Answer: Crepey skin can be treated by doing Morpheus8. It was tighten the skin. Combine with a Melapeel as well. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Skin Quality Boosters Can Help Improve Crepey Upper Arm Skin Your dermatologist should have discussed with you that one treatment is likely to be insufficient. I have been treating crepey skin with injectable skin boosters, including diluted Radiesse and skin quality boosters made of hyaluronic acid (e.g. Restylane Skin Boosters, Hydromax, Juvederm Volite, & Restylane Silk), for quite a few year already. Most often a treatment series of two to four sessions is required to realize sufficient improvement. So one treatment session at only three weeks is insufficient time to judge efficacy). Treatments should also be scheduled at a minimum of six week intervals--the time it takes for new, native collagen and elastic fibers and dermal matrix to be produced. Both fanning techniques and a grid pattern technique (or a combination) may be effective. Make sure to consult with a board certified aesthetic physician. Best of luck.

Answer: Radiesse is not the best way to treat this problem Your skin is crepy because it has lost its collagen and has thinned. I would treat you with aqua gold PRP with growth factors and stem cells so that your skin thickens. I would also suggest taking transdermal estrogen if there are no contraindications to build up your collagen as well.
