Is it safe to get SMP to cover FUE scars and fill in my crown?

I had my second FUE procedure in May and it has been about 6 months. Is it safe to get SMP to cover FUE scars and help "fill in" my crown? If so does anyone specialize in this procedure for someone that isn't shaving their head?

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP can be done as long as your wound has healed with no redness. At 6 months, it is perfectly fine to have SMP with your hair long or short.

Thank you for your question. You are certainly far enough out from your FUE procedure to move forward with a scalp micro-pigmentation procedure. This should give you the appearance of greater density in the crown and camouflage the scars from your FUE harvesting. It can take 2 to 4 SMP treatments to achieve an acceptable result.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

Yes, SMP works well to make a crown look fuller. I had it done about a month ago to thicken the appearance of my crown and showed it off at the International Society meeting in Bangkok.
