I am 36 years old, 130 lbs with 2 kids. I have alot of loose skin on my upper abdomen. I have very minimal body fat which seems to make it look worse. I'm not sure about a tummy tuck since my loose skin is not below the naval and I'm also not interested in getting a reverse tummy tuck because of the scar. Is there any kind of laser, (ie: Morpheus) that could help tighten it up a bit? I'm really not looking to do anything too invasive if I can avoid it. Thanks for the feedback in advance

Answer: Loose skin on upper abdomen Given your specific concerns and preference for a less invasive procedure, it is understandable that you are hesitant about a traditional tummy tuck or reverse tummy tuck. In such cases, non-invasive treatments like laser treatments or radiofrequency devices such as Morpheus may be worth considering to help tighten loose skin in the upper abdomen. Morpheus is a fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device that can stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. It delivers heat energy to the deeper layers of the skin, triggering a natural healing response and promoting skin tightening over time. While Morpheus and similar treatments can improve skin texture and mild to moderate skin laxity, it is important to note that they may not be as effective as surgical options like a tummy tuck in cases of significant skin laxity. During a consultation with a qualified dermatologist or plastic surgeon, they can assess your specific case and determine if Morpheus or other non-invasive treatments would be suitable for you. They will consider the degree of skin laxity, your individual goals, and any potential limitations of the procedure. They can also discuss the expected results, the number of treatment sessions required, and any associated risks or side effects. I hope this helps, best of luck !

Answer: Non-surgical options Thank you for sharing your photos! If you have any hanging skin, you might be a candidate for a non-invasive procedure called Thermage (no incision!) that can tighten skin and stimulate your body to make healthier collagen—the building block that provides structure to your skin. The procedure uses radiofrequency technology called ThermaCool® that has been clinically proven to tighten and gently lift skin. Fast and easy, Thermage requires no downtime from normal activities. Tighten and lift without surgery, injections, or downtime. Another treatment that helps smooth skin is micro-RF. Used in combination with Thermage and non-ablative lasers this can be a powerful nonsurgical treatment to help tighten and smooth skin all over the body. I suggest making an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options in more detail!
