I received 20 units of Botox for the first time in my forehead and between the brows 24 hours ago. I remained upright for 4 hours and followed all aftercare instructions. An hour or so after the injection, it felt like the Botox was spreading throughout my face and down into my cheeks. Today, I feel the most tightness/heaviness in my forehead and upper eyelids right beneath my brows but have a little tightness in my cheeks, also. I am wondering if these are normal sensations? Thanks.

NYCBee,Based from your photos and your statement, you probably need a combination of filler to reduce the marionette lines and botox to relax the muscle. As for the botox, there are 2 main reasons shy it may not be working, the target muscle was not hit, or the dose may not be enough.
You should see your doctor and let your injector know as well. This needs to be checked out as it may have been a result of your treatment, even if it is highly unusual. Best of luck.
