Is normal to feel tightness/heaviness in areas that were not injected with Botox? (In upper eyelids/cheeks after brow/forehead)

Asked By:JenniPandy in Phoenix, AZ

I received 20 units of Botox for the first time in my forehead and between the brows 24 hours ago. I remained upright for 4 hours and followed all aftercare instructions. An hour or so after the injection, it felt like the Botox was spreading throughout my face and down into my cheeks. Today, I feel the most tightness/heaviness in my forehead and upper eyelids right beneath my brows but have a little tightness in my cheeks, also. I am wondering if these are normal sensations? Thanks.
