No, Latisse should not cause styes on the the eyelid. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor. Keep in mind, eventually Latisse results may plateau. A combination approach is needed. In combination with Latisse, I typically inject and apply topically PRP for a few treatments at the beginning to improve the growth rate of the lashes. Take viviscal as well. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
Latisse does not cause styes as the solution is sterile. However, you should make sure that you are only using the provided applicators once -- reusing them can introduce bacteria to your lash line thus causing a stye.
Styes are caused by bacteria that gets into and irritates the oil glands of the eyelids. I would make sure to cleanse the skin prior to applying the solution. Latisse comes with applicators that are to be used for applying the solution. The label should indicate that the applicators are for one time use only. I hope that I have answered your question. I recommend following up with a Dr. to ensure you are not having a reaction to the product.
Latisse will not cause you to get a sty. It is a sterile solution. It can, however, cause darkening of the skin along the hair follicles of the eyelashes which is harmless. Many people wear eyeliner there anyway and don't care and some don't experience this effect at all.Best of luck to you!Dr. Cayton

When applied as directed to the top of the lids, Latisse should not affect the color of the eye. Keep in mind, no patients in any of Allergan’s studies for Latisse reported alterations in their eye color, so this would be an extremely rare side effect. Prp and viviscal can also help improve ey...
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hair loss expert. Prp and progesterone can be used to regrow eyebrows. Best, Dr. Emer
