I want to be able to wear winged eyeliner and it not be hidden. As well as my eyeshadow actually shows instead of just seeing black eyeliner. Botox would lift my brows but I feel like I have a lot of excess skin.

Answer: Botox or eyelid surgery? Thank you for the question and sharing your photo and concerns. Yes, with appropriate placement in the muscles that depress the brow, Botox can give a subtle browlift effect. If you are concerned that excess skin is also a concern, or that a longer lasting and more significant lifting of the brow may be needed, I would consider evaluation by a facial plastic surgeon or other cosmetic surgery specialist to discuss your options."This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion. Answer: Botox and hooded eyelid skin Good question! Botox vs other treatment decisions depend on a good physical examination and skin-muscle eyelid and eyebrow anatomy. The muscle function should be measured to accurately assess the amount of lift in these cases. See a board certified plastic surgeon who can appropriately decide-treat with either Botox and/or a procedure if needed for your goals. Best wishes!
