While Botox for masseter reduction will certainly taper and slim your jawline, it will be orders of magnitude less significant than the photo you have morphed.  With serial treatments especially the masseter muscle will atrophy and become very slim, but ultimately your result will be limited by the size and shape of your mandible.

I suggest you go to a facial contouring expert who specializes in fillers and fat transfer for male facial defining.  Cannula injections limit side effects and give meticulous contouring.  I have patients travel from all over the world for this. Botox can be used to decrease masseter size and contour the jaw as well.  Do not compromise your care for cost or distance.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for the question and the photos. Botox can be used to reduce the bulk of the masseter muscles -- the large muscle that attaches at the angle of the jaw on each side. For patients with a square jaw and large muscles, Botox can result in "slimming" of this area. It's not for everyone, but for some patients, this is agreat option. Generally you need 10-15 units per side and a series of two or three treatments. Best of luck moving forward!

Yes, you can use Botox injections to lengthen "slim" a rounded face. The injections are done in the masseter muscle (jaw line). It often takes more than one time treatment. I usually tell my patients that they can expect results after 2 to 3 treatment sessions. The treatments are usually 4 months apart (3 to 6 months is the range). The amount of botox injected depends on the size of your face. There is no down-time. Hope this is helpful.

Yes you can have Botox injection into your masseter muscles on either side of your jaw angles to achieve a slimmer face. The procedure is very successful and it takes 2-3 injections 3-4 months apart to achieve the final result. Hope this helps.

Injection of the masseter muscle which is the big muscle in the jaw will taper the face. Be sure you choose a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is experienced in this use of the material to be sure you get a good result
