Had filler twice for a dimple in my chin, want to try again with lip filler but I don’t want have the same thing happen. Advice?

It is difficult to determine why the filler did not work. I have generally had good results with improving a chin dimple with a combination of filler and botox, depending on its exact cause.  There are surgical options as well but I would recommend a consultation to evaluate you specifically.

Thanks for your question. I would need more information to help answer you. Where is the dimple? (a photo would help). Is it a dynamic issue (does it show up when you are moving your face), or static (seen at rest)? I tend to agree that this is usually an issue that fillers don't work for. cannot be improved with fillers in my opinion, botox can sometimes help but often this is genetic and needs surgery if you want a more significant improvement.  Best, Dr. Emer.
