Can fair skinned people be more sensitive to the heat of Venus Freeze treatments?

Question

I have had two VF treatments. The first treatment felt hot with moments of feeling zapped, like a quick burn. The second treatment was worse. Whenever the technician went in circles it's wasn't too bad but when she went back and fourth the split second of stopping at each end felt like I was being burned and I think I was flinching at times. I am a redhead with freckles and I know I'm sensitive to sun burn but what about other burns. Might my fair skin be the problem?

There should be no difference in the sensation you
experience during the Venus Freeze/Legacy treatment based on your skin
type.  It is important that the hand
piece is moved at a constant pace.  It is
also possible to lower the radio frequency level to avoid burning during the
treatment.

No, this is about treatment technique and not about your skin type. Fluid, consistent motions are necessary for Venus Freeze. When the handpiece stops, even for a second, it will heat the area excessively and cause you pain. It's not about your skin type and it is about poor treatment technique.
