Hello,We are not fans of this device. The reason being, mechanical exfoliation will always be more harsh than a gentle chemical exfoliation option. Although the tactile benefit is immediate with exfoliating brushes, they tend to be harsh. The under eye area is very delicate skin. Using a gentle moisturizer or inexpensive eye serum would prove to be a better option.
Yes, you may use the Clarsonic anywhere on the face as long as you aren't overdoing it. Remember you are using it to cleanse skin and pores and stimulate blood flow to keep your skin at its best. There are different heads for the unit as well like a sensitive skin one which can be used if you skin is easily irritated.
So clarisonic acts like a mild dermabrader and can be used under the eyes. It will tighten the skin somewhat by causing a mild inflammatory reaction. I have had a couple of clients who have used it though and ended up with subacute skin infections requiring tetracycline antibiotics though so be aware if your skin gets red and irritated.
