In 2020 and 2021 I had a deep plane facelift and revision respectively. After the revision a strange purple almost rectangle shaped mark appeared behind my right ear. It has never subsided. What could it be, and any suggestions to eliminate or at least minimize it?

Really depends on your tension of your tissues. If your surgeon removed alot of skin and there is not enough to avoid tension, you may want to wait past a year. if your surgeon only removed skin, often times a deep plane approach will lift up the deeper tissue and help with repositioning scars...
