I come from an Asian country where alloplastic implants are more commonly used. I have likwise read peer-reviewed medical journals highlighting the "good side" of ePTFE implants. I wish to know if the newer forms of ePTFE (not Gore-tex brand) are still difficult to remove, say after 5 or 10 years? I initially want to have an alloplastic implant as I am not yet ready for autogenous graft. Thank you!

From the photos, there is slight asymmetry of the nostril and alar rim. It is still too early to judge. I recommend you to wait a year. You can visit your surgeon if you think there is still problem with the symmetry at that time. Thanks.
