i applied 20% glycolic acid solution on my face for four days. And on my upper right cheek, a red mark which has a size of my thumb mark was left. Will this be gone and be peeled with the other skin on my face? The actual burn or red mark is darker and puffy than the photo shown.

Thank you for your question. Doing peels at home is never recommended, products like these should be applied by a liscensed professional. I would recommend discontiuing the use of this product, keep your face protected with sunscreen and avoid direct sun exposure. You can use Aquaphor on the burned area until it heals (do not peel skin off as it is healing). It should go back to normal if you are careful and gentle with your skin, it may take a few month before it does. Best Wishes,Pablo Prichard
