What should I do after a chemical peel, wash with water or apply neutralizer?

Every chemical peel requires a different step for neutralizing. Knowing that the peel is 15% does not tell you anything about how to neutralize or what the strength is. Chemical peels should be done by a medical professional to see the safest and most effective results. 

With regard to chemical peels, including glycolic acid peels,  you should first be evaluated by a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon.  I agree with Dr. Rueckl,  I would strongly suggest you not treat yourself with chemical peels.  Seek out board certified physician to do this procedure.  Best wishes.

You need to not use peels if you don't know what you are doing! Every peel has specific steps to neutralize the peel and it has to be followed to a "T" to avoid causing harm. Not all glycolics are the same. Additionally, a 15% peel can be stronger than a 70% peel depending on it's pH.
