Why does my skin feels so sticky and tight after a pink peel?

my sweat was trapped in my skin because of this i manually peeled my skin,didnt hurt but im afraid of what might turn out. I noticed that some part of my skin which i peeled feels so tight especially after shower, and it was sticky just like an adhesive tape. i tried applying cetaphil lotion aftr bath,it worked well with the skin which doesnt peel yet but it made my peeled skin more sticky.

Thank you for your question. You should never manually peel your skin off after a peel, this can damage the tissue and cause permante complications. Please go back to your provider to have them check your skin to make sure you havent caused a problem. The reason your skin feels sticky and tight is because you peeled off additional layers that were not ready to come off. Protect your face from the sun and use an auquaphor type cream until your skin is done peeling. Best Wishes,Pablo Prichard
