A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi @sissy411! Dermal fillers can help smoothen vertical lip lines. Botox can also be used above the upper lip border to decrease the muscular activity in the region responsible for the formation of the vertical lines. I hope this was helpful!
Fillers such as Belotero Balance, are excellent choices for elevating and smoothing these deeply etched-in vertical lip lines. They can also be used to define the vermilion border and make it less "blurred," a condition created by loss of lip volume with the passage of time. Microdroplets of Botox can also be used in certain locations above the upper lip border to diminish the muscular activity in the region responsible for the formation of the vertical lines. All of these procedures, which were developed and innovated by cosmetic dermatologists and which have been performed safely and effectively for decades, in experienced hands should take no more than about ten to fifteen minutes to perform. You would be wise to make sure that you consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
Instant result of no lines can be achieved with 1 to 2 syringes of HA filler injection such as Restylane silk, juvederm volbella, belotero balance to achieve natural result
Those vertical lines above your lip are caused by the contraction of the muscle that makes your lips pout. Over time, that repeated contraction in conjunction with volume and collagen loss creates vertical lines. Neuromodulator (Botox or Dysport) can help relax that muscle so it's not pulling the lines so much. Filler injected into the lip can really pop out and support those lines (like inflating a flat tire), and if needed more filler can also be placed directly into the lines.
Hi sissy411,We are using the H-100 youth vaccine with a mix of essential amino acid injections to reduce and ease the lines on the upper lips. This is some sort of a filler that we use as a complementary treatment to our facelift patients. You can achieve a rejuvenated look enjoy the benefits of this cocktail filler.
Hello and thank you for your question. It is always best to see you face to face for a consult and examination however from your photos yes filler would be a great option to help smooth and lift those areas. I hope that helps answer your question. Always seek an experienced and qualified medical professional for these treatments. Very best wishes
Peroral lines are caused by loss of fat in the lips. The primary treatment is to replace what was lost. This is usually done with a filler but can be done with fat. Either is placed along the edge of the vermillion and in the vermillion and to restore the philtrum. This is usually all it takes but, if any vertical lines are left, they can also be filled. Make sure you see an expert in use of fillers.
Hi there,Yes fillers will help something like the Restylane Silk or Belotero. You may also consider C02 Laser. It is best to see a Board Certified Physician for a consultation to explore all your options.Best of luck!
