15 months post-op lower facelift - how long before scar revision is possible? (photos)

I am 15 months post-op lower FL & necklift. I have these unsightly scars behind my ears. I would like to do a scar revision. I don’t have any scars at all from 2 knee surgeries so I assume these formed due to a tight pull & tensión on the skin. How long do I need to wait for scar revision? Does the skin have to stretch before this can be attempted? Are there other treatments that might improve the appearance? I’d like to wear my hair in a pigtail to exercise again. Thank you.
