I had a 1.5cm cyst removed from the middle of my back. Post-op directions were to moisturise and massage with thumb pressure for few weeks. Unfortunately, the scar is in a difficult to reach spot, I can't put enough pressure to massage it. Are there any tools I can buy or is the massage not really necessary in this case? My surgeon didn't answer my questions about how to make the scar cosmetically nicer, she said there's not much I can do, but I think it's not true?
