Hello! I am going to remove my implants. I would like to "fatten" up my breasts and add some fullness using fat transfer. I am, however, in the process of losing weight via Zephound and am currently 10 pounds from my goal weight. For the fat transfer, I want to target my tummy pooch to move. What happens if I go on zephound after my surgery to lose the remaining 5-7 pounds. Will I ruin the breast fat transfer?
Answer: Weight loss Dear JKI_212,iusk that you will also lose some of transferred fat. It is better to achieve desired weight and then proceed with fat transfer. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Weight loss after fat transfer Thank you for posting your question here. The beauty of fat transfer is that it is natural and it changes with your weight changes , that being said when you lose weight you lose it everywhere including your breasts. Will you ruin it ?-(unlikely) but your breasts will change size and get smaller , keep in mind that you will also have swelling and that the swelling will eventually subside so your breasts will lose more volume too.I hope this helps, best of luck!

Answer: Removal of implants, fat transfer, and weight loss Different providers will have different thoughts on weight loss after that transfer. Personally, I don’t think it has much of an impact on healing or the final outcome. Other than weight loss will reduce all fat layers, including the grafted fat. There are some issues to consider when contemplating having fat transfer in conjunction with implant removal. One of the things to consider is that you will not have the ability to have before, and after pictures. You will therefore have no way of knowing the impact of the transfer. If you’re disappointed with the final outcome, you won’t know if the fat transfer had any impact. Breast transfer results are subtle and the procedure does not help in creating changes in breast shape, which is what most people are looking for. Breast fat transfer increase breast size by Maximum one cup in ideal circumstances, the procedure has virtually no impact unchanging breast shape. Most patients who have had breast implants are going to have a lack of volume in the upper half of the breast, and this will remain after fat transfer. It’s also important to understand your candidacy for Liposuction. Weight loss patients often have skin laxity and skin laxity is the number one reason why patients failed to be good candidates for Liposuction. Make sure you see lots of before and after pictures of previous patients who have the same body characteristics to your own, so you have a good understanding of what your results are likely to look like. When it comes to transfer, it’s also very important to have a clear understanding of the timeframe of when after pictures were taken. Early transfer results can look very impressive even keeping up with implant augmentation. Early results, however, are not in anyway, representation of final long-term outcomes after breast transfer. Fat transfer results are final at three months. Never assume and always confirm when after pictures were taken in relationship to the date of surgery. Finally, the ability to deliver consistent quality, liposuction, and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who approach these procedures is small. Poorly done, Liposuction can leave people disfigured. The importance of provider selection cannot be over. Being at breast surgery does not mean somebody is necessarily good at liposuction or fat transfer. Perhaps more than you asked for. This response was dictated. My apologies for potential grammatical errors. Make absolutely sure you’re not going to regret having your implants removed. If you want breast, fullness and implants are usually the way to go. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD.
