I have been considering a lip lift to help lift my upper lift to be more apparent and less downward. Would this help in my case?
Answer: Lip lift You are an excellent candidate for a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. The cost is $3,000, is done under local anesthesia and takes about 1 hour to perform. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Benefits of a lip lift Hi! Yes, it seems you would be a good candidate for a lip lift. It would help enhance the lower midface aesthetics by decreasing the length of the cutaneous lip and lifting the lip overall. Your nose to mouth width ratio is also in good proportion, which is an important consideration. One thing that would have to be evaluated is how much tooth show you have, as this can limit the amount of lift. The amount of lift is determined on the day of surgery when we can measure multiple times and feel the lip, lifting it physically and evaluating carefully... but in a case like yours I would estimate 4 - 6mm centrally and 5 to 8 laterally (at a diagonal). The increased amount of lift diagonally at the sides is also a very important consideration as it allows for a uniform elevation and avoids over peaking the middle. In the end it really comes down to choosing someone who does these well and understands all these concepts, as well as the surgical nuances. Read up on the subject thoroughly before committing and go to several consultations, because there is a big difference btwn simply removing skin from under the nose and a high quality lip lift that suspends in a deep plane. Good luck!

Answer: Lip Lift Hello my name is Ranen and I work at Shah aesthetics. A little botox above the lip will prevent the lip from going downward, and will help lift the lip. I think this is a great option for anyone who wants the lip to be lifted.
