I have had injected pms silicoin oil in my lips in 2006. And I don’t have any complications. But now I’m orientating on a bullhorn liplift and I spoke to one cosmetic surgeon about this. And she has already ruled out in advance that I can do a liplift. I didn't even have to come in for a consultation. It was a contraindication she said. And I wonder now, do all doctors think this way? And why is it a contraindication?

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners.

I'm not sure what it is that you don't like about your lower face either. I do however, think that a lip lift would look nice, giving you more "Pink Show" of your upper lip.
