Sculptra lump in lower jaw. Will this ever go away?

Question

I had a scuptra injection about 3 years ago in my jaw area. Every now and then I get a lump that I can feel on the inside of my mouth when I run my tongue around the bottom of my mouth. It doesn't show on the outside. I massage it and it goes away but comes up at different times, it's annoying & it scares me when it comes u. Will this ever go away?

Lumps can occur following Sculptra injection.  If they are not cosmetically unattractive and do not cause other problems I would srongly recommend not pursuing treatment.

lost volume that can last up to 3 years. Be sure to follow up with your doctor
to make sure you are healing properly.

A Sculptra nodule should be consistently present, not come and go.  A benign mucoid cyst can occur sporadically and collapse with massage.  If the nodule recurs, please see your dentist who can make a diagnosis.

It might not be related at all to the Sculptra. It might be a stone in one of your salivary glands. If it was a nodule, it would always be apparent. An ENT will help sort things out.
