Question

two years ago i had an incident where getting my nails done at a nail salon resulted in a fungus growing under them.the fungus grew on to my torso and though its gone i still have the scars on my butt.how do i get rid of them?i went to my rap around doctor and they suggested going to a dermatologist but all the ones in my area are backed up and seeing the scar has really weighted on me these past few months.ive even considered getting anal bleaching cream and just using it on the area instead

Thanks for your question and posting pictures.  The dark spot look like you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).  After a personal consultation, we would probably recommend a series of the PicoSure Laser with the FOCUS and/or Flat Lens for pigment correction.  The FOCUS lens also works well on scar reduction.  PicoSure is safe for all skin types.  Depending on the severity of the pigment, it will probably take 1 to 4 treatments.  Best of luck.

Acne on buttocks can be treated just like acne on the face.  A combination of antibiotics, bleaching creams, lasers and chemical peels will fix this condition.  It is important to stop the cause of the acne before additional scarring incurs.  Please consult an expert in acne scars.  Best, Dr. Green
