I had my first round of liposuction in 2017 and he never told me any of the post op care so I developed fibrosis. I probably wasn't even a candidate for it. I went to another doctor in Miami for liposuction and I got 20 lymphatic messages for 2 months with wearing my compression 24/7. After 2 months I started wood therapy , carboxy shots and cavi. I'm 5 months post up and the lipo looks the same or worst. Help do I need Vaser or J-plasma?
Answer: Superstore problems after poorly done liposuction your liposuction results are 100% based on how the surgical procedure was performed. After care has zero impact. Lymphatic massage does not have any scientifically proven benefit. Neither does compression garments or any of the other modalities you've mentioned. You were left over treated and not having a very uneven fat distribution. You've had two rounds of liposuction in both which over treated you and caused scar tissue formation. This guardianship for Machen came as a direct result of the treatment not the lack of aftercare. Adding more surgery will make more scar tissue. VASER is particularly prone to leaving people over treated and with a deformed abdomen. There's no such thing as removing scar tissue after liposuction. Correcting previously done low-quality liposuction is very difficult and often not possible. This is especially true for those who have been over treated. Sorry to be blunt but the last thing you need is to be promised something that is impossible and spend more money on treatment options that don't work. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Liposuction revision At this point you need to go to a VASER master who deals with botched liposuction jobs routinely. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Fibrosis after liposuction Hi and welcome to our forum! Without photos, it is impossible to ascertain your status. However, in general, fibrosis occurs if there has been over-correction or if there was a postoperative complication such as hematoma, seroma, or infection. Fibrosis does not respond well to repeated liposuction procedures as it may cause even more fibrosis. Abdominoplasty may eliminate some scarring of the lower abdomen if there is sufficient skin laxity. Fat grafting appears to demonstrate limited success. There is no absolute "cure" for fibrosis. Visit several board certified plastic surgeons for evaluation and opinions. Best wishes...
