Hi, I had one treatment done 5 weeks ago to help with Acne scars. The treatment left me with grid marks, Pigmentation and 3 deep depressions (2 vertical and one round). I have not seen much improvment over the last 2 weeks. Any suggestions (hopefully that does not involve laser) to improve this? I am also gettin back on tretinoin 0.02% which has help a lot with the pigmentation. Thanks!
Answer: Infini Healing After examining your photos, you still have time to heal. "Grid marks" happen when the hand piece is lifted from the skin prior to the needles fully contracting. I would agree with using a Retin-A and a skin bleaching cream such as hydroquinone. Also follow up with your provider.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Grid Marks After Laser Resurfacing -- FRAXEL/Clear + Brilliant, Microneedling/PRP improve this I find that nonablative lasers like clear + brilliant or Fraxel help to improve this along with pulsed dye laser or V Beam. skin lightening creams work well, tretinoin or tazorac will help along with hydrafacial or beta peels. I find that growth factors and silicone based scar gels help this as well along with enzematic cleansers. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Post infini Effects In my opinion, the gentle waves treatment is excellent for reducing redness after infini. We have also used IPL and pulsed dye laser as well as a mild topical steroid. The grid marks and redness will disappear over time. Using a micro needle roller or a mild non-ablative laser can speed up healing of grid marks. Diluted bleaching creams or low concentration tretinoin helps with pigmentation. You should return to your doctor and have him help with your post operative course.

Answer: Infini treatment and followup This is a very rare side effect of Infini treatments. Typically most of my patients are fully recovered before one week. Have you been back to see your treating physician? If not, I would recommend followup with them. There are some topical and laser options that can help improve the clearing of these grid marks.

Answer: Side effects from Infini I would treat with VBeam or Excel V, Retin A, and skin bleacher. The lasers have been used for years to improve fresh scarring and improve redness. I too have the Gentle Waves and use on all my laser patients. There is actually a paper of using LED in combination with Infini showing improved results. I would try higher concentration of Retin A too.
