Ice or no ice after Infini treatment? (photos)

I just had my first INFINI treatment and experiencing a lot of swelling. My doctor recommended icing, but then I read on a website that the cold would counter act the heat effect. Thoughts? On average, how long should it take till swelling goes down?

Sorry to see you’ve had such difficulty after your
treatment.  In my experience, swelling and
redness is minimal, like a mild sunburn, lasting on average 1-3 days.  To further reduce the duration of redness and
swelling, we offer next day LED treatment. 
I recommend using only a gentle cleanser and a post procedural healing
cream twice daily and have seen excellent results without complications.  Ice is fine and in no way counters the
effects of the treatment. In fact, we use a cool air device during treatment to
enhance patient comfort.  If you have any
questions or concerns, your best source of information is your doctor. All the

Using ice following your procedure works very well. Swelling is normal following the inifini treatment and the ice will help it improve. Ice will not counteract any of the benefits of the procedure.

The swelling typically subsides in 24 to 48 hours. Icing the treatment area on and off will help with the swelling and will not counter act the results. We use Regenica Recovery Gel post procedure and that really helps with the healing time and redness/swelling.
