I am 3 weeks post-op. I have 375cc HP under the muscle. My implants were placed through the armpit. As my breasts continue to drop and fluff will my breasts get closer together? Will I be able to manipulate the cleveage once they get softer? As of now I can push them together but they will not stay together even in a bra. Also, can I expect them to get larger? I'm assuming that since the muscle is still tight the projection is not fully represented.
Answer: Cleavage and breast augmentation Breast augmentation cannot build cleavage but your increased volume will make it easier for you to create cleavage in clothes after your breasts have dropped and fluffed. At 3 weeks you are about 15 percent softened dropped and fluffed. "Drop and fluff" refers to the fact that as the skin stretches and the muscles relax, the implants move down and out slowly – about 1 percent a day. It’ll be about six weeks before they even begin to settle down, but they’ll be close to 80 percent settled and softened at three months. Watching their progress is like watching your hair grow. You don’t see a difference in your hair growth daily, but all of a sudden you need a haircut. Be patient after surgery. Give yourself a few months before making a judgment about your surgical results. You won't know the outcome until then. Answer: How will the shape of my breasts change after breast augmentation? After breast augmentation the shape of the breasts will continue to change for usually 6-8 weeks and sometimes as long as 6 months. Most of the shape change is in the up-down direction -- not side to side or toward the center of the chest. There are aspects of geometry and physics that dictate how close together your breast will project away from your body. There are also anatomical considerations for this. As far as the geometry and physics principles goes your plastic surgeon cannot change those. As far as the anatomical considerations go your plastic surgeon hopefully did not attempt to change those.Ultimately there are things that neither the patient or the plastic surgeon can control that dictate the position and projection of your breasts.

Answer: As my breasts continue to drop and fluff will my breasts get closer together? (Photo) Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and it appears that you will have a nice result. As your tissues soften and stretch you will take on increased projection and a more natural appearance with the cup size of bras increasing and the upper breast fullness diminishing a bit. Separation of the breasts depends on the width of your breastbone but your cleavage will better be manipulated to reduce this distance in bras once you have fully healed. Hope this helps.

Answer: Implant dropping Dear SHolguin08, dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. Answer: After Drop and Fluff After the drop and fluff phase of your recovery, your implants should be softer and more mobile. This should allow you to push them together for improved cleavage. When completely settled, your implant should be centered just under your nipple. This means that if your breasts were wide set prior to surgery then they will remain widely set. I hope this helps.
