The area around the columella looks weird after healing. Will this resolve on its own? (Photo)

Is this something that will even itself out, or is a revision the way to go? Also since my sinus surgery/ septorhinoplasty, I have headaches and a dull achey pain my eyes mostly everyday.

Hello, if the surgeon did not give you specific reason of why he felt that you were not a candidate for surgery, then I would probably seek out a second opinion. There are many reasons why a surgeon may elect to not perform a rhinoplasty. I would discuss this further with them or seek another...

You are only 2 weeks post op and in the very early stages of healing.  You must be patient.  It is too soon to see the final results of your surgery.  You will see progressive change as your healing continues.  Your final result can take up to 6 months to be apparent.

Alar excisions for hanging alae? One of the reasons you do not hear much about these is that experienced rhinoplasty surgeons do not like making that external incision since that area is oily sebaceous skin and often leads to an unattractive scar.
