Answer: MTF Surgeries: Timing and Hip Augmentation Dear Terrific677088, congratulations on being on HRT for almost one year! The timeline for MTF surgeries can vary depending on individual health and hormone response. It is recommended to be on HRT for at least one year before considering gender-affirming surgeries like buttocks augmentation to ensure adequate feminization and stable hormone levels. Buttocks augmentation can enhance curves and provide a fuller appearance, which may contribute to a more feminine figure. However, it's essential to understand that the outcome can vary based on your body's response to the procedure and the surgeon's techniques. To achieve a more pronounced hip area, you may discuss additional procedures, such as hip implants or fat grafting, with your plastic surgeon. The surgeon will assess your unique anatomy and discuss appropriate surgical options to help you achieve your desired appearance. Always consult with an experienced gender-affirming surgeon who can guide you through the process, address your concerns, and create a personalized surgical plan to meet your goals safely and effectively.

Answer: Hormones and surgery Power mode management should be done by the Doctor Who is currently managing your care.Augmentation is typically done with fat transfer or or with the use of implants. You wish picture has an inherently different, skeletal structure, and Liposuction with fat transfer only changes fat distribution, but we’ll have no impact on musculoskeletal . I don’t think your wish picture is a realistic no liposuction and well done fat transfer can be a step in the right direction. These procedures vary substantially based on patient’s candidacy, and finding a sufficiently talented provider. The number of plastic surgeons, who do these procedures well on a consistent basis is relatively small. I suggest having multiple in person consultations to get an assessment, and understand more about what the procedure can, or cannot accomplish. Having multiple in person, consultations will also allow you to begin the vetting process of finding the best provider. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of the previous patients who have had this procedure. When it comes to fat transfer, always confirm that after pictures were taken a minimum of 3 to 6 months from the date of surgery. Early postoperative fat transfer results can look very impressive but do not represent final results. Best, Matt Hagstrom, MD.
