Unhappy with my TT outcome. Anyone confident that you can get me to my flatness goal via TT revision?

Question

Had full TT with ab repair 5 mo. ago. While I appreciate that some tightness was achieved via removal of exc. skin & fat, I feel that the mark was totally missed in terms of flatness. I feel reluctant to let my orig. PS revise this, as he didn’t deliver the first time around; don’t want to be “fooled twice”. My feeling is that the ab repair & umbilical hernia wasn’t fully addressed. Who has vast experience in this area and can help me reach my goal? Thank you.

The reasons for revision can be related to scar, belly button, amount fat left and muscle repair. please send pictures for better evaluation. Please see the link that shows issues with all.

Even though your question indicates photos were included, there are no photos accompanying your question so we really can't give you much information. Try this...in the nude stand sideways in front of a large mirror and compare the flatness of your lower back to the flatness of your abdomen. Your abdomen is shaped by the curvature of your spine. We always tell patients they will not have a flat abdomen, rather they will have a flatter abdomen than they started with. Also, during the initial exam, we have the patients lie on their back on the exam table and if their abdomen rises higher than their ribs, they will never get a very flat abdomen until they lose the internal fat causing that appearance. Realistic expectations are critical before surgery.
