What is this crease? Abdominoplasty revision 10 days PO (Photo)

Question

This is my second full TT (first left way too much skin). Dr said she pulled as tight as she could and she was not able to remove my old belly button scar. Now a huge crease has formed from my belly button to the incision. My Dr says she can fix this once I've healed by using a cannula. I'm just so depressed. when I bend my stretch marks are already starting to wrinkle despite the severe swelling. Is there any chance the skin will tighten? She did very aggressive liposuction before the TT.

Dear Virginian,    Thanks for posting your pictures and sorry for your problem. From observing your pictures, it appear that the crease under the belly button is your old belly button that was pulled down by the revision surgery and the additional tightening of the abdominal loose skin.   This crease will improve with time as the scar matures. If you have still indentation after 2-3 months, liposuction of the abdomen will flatten the skin and eliminate the crease.   After the waiting period reassess your situation with your surgeon. If you are not happy with her response, consider consulting with other experienced board certified plastic surgeons.                         Best of luck,                                            Dr Widder
