Generally swelling after breast augmentation takes about 2 weeks to resolve but can take a few months. The rate of swelling resolution is different for each person so there is really no set timeframe. Having said that, textured shelled implants do not lower. Swelling is different than position. Pictures would help.

Thanks for your question.  Swelling may decrease at different rate among people.  Most of swelling should decrease within 6 weeks.  Implants may take 6 months to settle.  If you are concerned, please check back with your plastic surgeon.  Your surgeon will be able to reassure your concern.  Best wishes with your recovery.

It is normal for swelling to take some time to subside, and every patient is different so it is hard to say exactly how long swelling will take to subside. There are many variables that affect the healing process.... skin laxity or tightness prior to surgery, size and placement of the implants. You should notice a decrease in swelling as your healing progresses.
