How much will the average cost be for 1000 grafts?

Hair above the ears can be used as donor hair for hair transplant surgery.  A doctor would need to examine you to make sure you have a good donor area.  3000 graft surgery is possible if you have good donor hair and scalp elasticity. 

You know you're balding pattern is stable when you get an exam and the doctor understand your medical history.  In addition if you are a Norwood 6, there isn't much hair for you to lose anymore.  

2000 grafts may be a respectable number but the number of grafts do not always translate to good results.Numbers don't guarantee results. It's the doctor and his team that provide great results. A great doctor with an experience team can achieve far superior results will less number of grafts...

Follow your doctor's advice. You trusted your doctor for surgery. Your doctor will not try to harm you by giving you medications that would be harmful for your grafts.  If your doctor feels there is an infection, you should be treated for the infection. If you don't treat the infection...

Thank you for the photos.  Are you prone to hypertrophic scarring?  This isn't the typical response from a HT. It is possible the grafts were placed improperly.  I'd recommend an in person evaluation with a board certified physician.  

You can have a hair transplant surgery after chemo but it depends on your donor hair.  Keep in mind hair transplant surgery cannot make a thin hair look more full overall as the surgery is basically rearranging the hairs that you already have.
