I am young and i don't have enough money to get an actual facelift of any type. For the time being i am interested in facelift tape. I want it to lift my eyes, my bags, and my smile lines. I want to use it every week for 8 hours. If I dont put the bands to an overly tight setting, will my skin get worse and sag more after a while? If so, are there any affordable alternatives i can use to get rid of my bags and smile lines? Any recommended products for face tape, ect.?
Answer: A great alternative as preventative treatment would be doing Morpheus8 treatments. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Sagging skin I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation. You may be a candidate for fillers to help give "lift" to the cheeks. Morpheus8 is another consideration. This treatment uses microneedling and RF technology to improve overall skin tone and texture. We also recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day.

Answer: Epigenetic Orhtopedics is ideal when young to correct underlying issues: Consider growing bone to support facial tissues. Correction of an underdeveloped maxilla with a DNA Appliance can give amazing results for both cosmetic and health reasons. You can increase your airway and improve sleep. Dark circles under the eyes are from blood without enough oxygen. Google "Shrinking Jaws Stanford" to learn about this epidemic. The facial tissues sag when there is not enough hard tissue supporting them! See the youtube link to hear patients discuss what DNA Appliance achieved for them.

Answer: Non-Surgical Face Lift / Skin Resurfacing with Renuvion/J-Plasma -- add Lasers, Microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy, FaceTite In our practice, we perform a non-surgical face lift / skin resurfacing treatment using Renuvion Helium Plasma Radiofrequency. To get the most improvement with skin tightening, we combine Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) with lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and InMode FaceTite. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Affordable, Non-Surgical Alternatives to Facelift Tape Thank you for your question. Facelift tape is a temporary solution, but it won’t address the underlying causes of sagging or provide lasting results. While using it sparingly is unlikely to harm your skin significantly, overuse or overly tight application could strain the skin over time. Instead, there are affordable, non-surgical options to help you achieve a more lifted and rejuvenated look without the risks associated with tape. For skin tightening and improving sagging, Accent Prime or Skin Tightening procedures using radiofrequency or ultrasound technology can be excellent alternatives. These treatments stimulate collagen production, firm the skin, and offer a subtle lift over time. They’re non-invasive, cost-effective, and require minimal downtime. If you’re concerned about nasolabial folds or under-eye bags, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections are a natural and affordable option to improve skin quality and stimulate collagen. Combined with microneedling, PRP can refine the skin’s texture and reduce fine lines, providing a refreshed and youthful appearance. For a quick yet impactful improvement, chemical peels or microdermabrasion can enhance overall skin tone and texture. These options are budget-friendly and can help maintain a healthy glow, making your face appear more rejuvenated. While these treatments provide longer-term solutions, small lifestyle changes can also make a difference. Consistent use of medical-grade skincare products, sunscreen, and proper hydration will support your skin’s elasticity and health. For personalized advice, consult with a provider who can design a plan tailored to your budget and goals. Remember, achieving a youthful look doesn’t have to mean surgery—subtle, non-invasive treatments can make a world of difference.
