What silicone implant is the equivalent to 325cc mentor saline that was over filled to 375ccs? 350-1650 mentor moderate profile

1cc of saline has the same volume as 1 cc of silicone. Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. 
When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

The best course of action would be to consult directly with your surgeon as he/she will know your condition best and have a detailed discussion of your surgical options. The optimal breast implant size, shape, and texture depends on many factors which can only be determined in an in person examination. 
 

Thank you for the good question.  In my experience, when converting from saline to silicone gel breast implants, a larger volume of silicone gel implant is necessary to achieve the same aesthetic look. I think this is because silicone gel breast implants tend to conform to patient chest walls more so than saline.
 In other words, the volume (cubic centimeters) are equivalent regardless of the material utilized but  utilizing the same volume of saline versus silicone gel breast implants may achieve quite different visual outcomes.   For this reason, I suggest patients undergoing breast augmentation or revisionary breast augmentation surgery (after careful communication of their goals) allow their plastic surgeon ( based on experience  and the use of temporary intraoperative sizers) to guide them when it comes to selection of appropriate breast implant type/size/profile.
Remember also that there may be variables (such as the need to adjust surrounding breast implant capsules), besides just breast implant volumes, that may come into play when it comes to achieving a patient's desired outcome.

Your question has multiple levels to it.  More often, I rely on both the shape; Moderate, moderate + or high profile etc. and the fill volume.  Silicone implants do not project as far as saline especially after being filled to the maximum (in a 325cc saline implant, 375 cc's is the normal maximum if moderate or moderate + implant).  I usually add 50cc's to the total fill of the saline to 'guess' the proper silicone replacement.  I order three different sizes and place a sizer (an empty implant that we fill to different volumes to gauge the correct sized replacement implant).  Once I have determined the correct replacement size, I open the silicone implants and place them.Good luck.Dr T
